Your trial may last 3 to 6 weeks, there is no set amount of time. The purpose of the trial is to allow us to establish whether you are the kind of person who fits in with our guild, and to give you a chance to see whether <Entropy> is the kind of place that you will be happy in. The same standards of behaviour are expected of trialists as full members.

If you're applying for a Raider position, we will expect you to be available for raids during your trial as that's our main ground for evaluation your playstyle. At the same time, we encourage you to befriend yourself with our community in game and on the forums so that we can all get to know you as person as well - in fact it's safe to say that a personality that fits well into our guild is more important than playing skills which can be learned with some tutoring, if needed.

We would like to provide you with a quick checklist of things to review as soon as you joined:

1. Make sure you have Ventrilo installed and setup to connect to our server. You can find the server information in the Guild Information tab of the guild panel in game.

2. We strongly encourage our members to use a microphone, so try and set it up before the raid as well (ask a guild member to check your volume levels and so on).

3. Get the appropriate addons:

• Omen
• oRA2
• Deadly Boss Mods or:
• Big Wigs
• EPGPLootmaster

4. Check the in-game calendar to signup for raids (if you have been just recruited and your name isn't on the list, please contact an officer). You can also access this feature from your character's armory page.

5. If you can make rare crafts or enchants, please make a post on the Profession forums to let us know what, and of course feel free to browse what the rest of the guild can make.

6. Read the Raids forum: you will find there tactics for the progression encounters, as well as older threads with information on bosses we have on farm, please read them all.

7. Please look at the raid 'ready check' sticky here.

8. Make sure you familiarize yourself with our loot distribution policy and the loot system we're using. You'll notice that, like all rading guilds, we have some requirements in regards to raiding commitment and attendance is encouraged.
